UK home insurance provider, HomeProtect, is running a competition to find the landlord of the year. This awesome individual is the type of landlord who goes above and beyond to make life better for his tenants. Sadly, landlords can’t cast a vote for themselves, but tenants and lodgers are being invited to vote for their favourite landlord.
Rewarding Excellent Service
“Landlords often get a bad rap, but there are many out there who do a fantastic job for their tenants, and we want to highlight and commend them,” says Mark Eastham from HomeProtect.
The theory is that by drawing attention to landlords who do a great job, others will be inspired to up their game.
It isn’t just a case of ticking a box on a web page. Anyone who decides to nominate their landlord must answer some questions, so the judges can decide whether a landlord is indeed a worthy winner of the prize. Oh yes, did we mention there is a prize?
Ask Your Tenants to Vote!
The lucky landlord who generates the most love from the judges will win a £100 Amazon voucher, a trophy, and the kudos of being named “Landlord of the Year”. So, if you think you are in with a chance of winning, forward the link to your happy tenants or lodgers, so they can nominate you!
The deadline for nominations is 31 March, so you don’t have much time left. The winner will be announced on 16 April.
